USPS Worker Found Not Guilty for Weapons Offense
Jan 11, 2019, by Case Results, Criminal Defense, Weapons inAfter picking up the wrong purse as she got her children ready for school/she began running errands, a woman in Michigan found herself charged with carrying a concealed weapon due to a gun that was in her bag as she entered a courthouse to complete some paperwork. After being arrested, she knew she needed the help of a skilled criminal defense lawyer. This is what brought her to Drias Law Group.
Attorney Martin Drias began working on her case immediately. Arguing that his client didn’t knowingly carry the firearm without the proper license, he took the case to trial and eventually obtained a not guilty verdict on his client’s behalf. As such, she was able to avoid incarceration, fines, and other penalties that come with a felony conviction.
The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
