No Additional Suspension For Man Driving Under A License Suspension

Nov 23, 2015, by Martin Drias in Case Results, Criminal Defense, OWI

We recently represented a full-time hi-low driver out of Westland, Michigan, who had three serious prior OWI convictions on his record. The man lost his license as an unfortunate consequence. As of late, he was charged with driving under a license suspension. A conviction of such a charge could prove to be problematic, landing him with an additional one-year license suspension or so much as losing his job.

When he hired us, our client was eligible for reinstatement of his license and, therefore, was uneasy about another lengthy suspension term. Michigan criminal defense attorney Martin Drias was determined to obtain justice for his client and advocated on his behalf. Using his experience and impressive negotiating skills, Davis achieved a lesser offense for his client. This reduced charge did not carry the weight of a license suspension.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
